Vacations and Cars
well after getting the tires rotated and a pair of new wiper blades the old car is making a slight comeback. Now I just need to get the oil changed and finally suck it up and take it to the Toyota delearship for a check up. I'm starting to get real tired of that emergency brake light always being on.
I'm as geared up as ever to venture into the world of Atlanta Real Estate. These condos I'm looking at get more enticing each and every day.
In other news I'm heading up to Knoxville for a vacation, if you will on Saturday to see the big game and I will be wearing the proper color orange with some navy blue to go with it. I don't know if going to a football game can really be considered a vaction anymore. It almost seems more like torture/work than a vacation. Gone are the days of a care free 3 hours of enjoying the sights. Now it feels like I have so much emotionally invested that it's too nerve wracking to enjoy untill the game is firmly in hand. But for now I will call it a vacation

used cars and real estate
embarking on two different tangents in my life it looks like it's about time to buy both real estate and a new car. I'm most eagerly looking into buying a high rise condo in the heart of Buckhead. The place i have found is sweet but expensive. However I do think it would be worth it considering how unbelievably nice the place is plus it should have a high resale value.
On the other hand my Camry has hit 110,000 miles and in suprising different opinion than my real estate choices I believe I'm in the market for a used car. I need to just get me by for a year or two until cool electric cars hit the market and my income has gotten substantially higher so I can afford payments on a condo and a car. It's just that's it's become increasingly risky for me to take my car to Auburn games all over the Southeast. I've already driven to Auburn twice, going to Knoxville next weekend and I'm probably going to have to fly into Memphis because I'm scared to drive my car all the way to Oxford, MS just to watch Auburn trounce all over Ole Miss.
But anyway for now it's just thinking about buying real estate and used cars.

Touchdown Auburn!
It only took one touchdown Saturday and what a great one it was. Auburn 10 LSU 9. Maybe the best finish I've ever seen to a game. Basically it was the exact opposite of the Auburn UGA game in 2002. We score on a long 4th down pass in the South Endzone with 1:14 left. Then they have a chance to drive it down the field but are unable. I love my new season tickets in the south endzone also. It's great to be on the side of the field where a deciding play happens. That immediately makes my top 5 games that I have ever attended. A defensive battle with late fireworks. The stadium was about as loud as I have ever heard it for the last ten minutes of the game. Unbelievable. War Damn Eagle!
also i would like to strike from the record everything i said about reggie bush as the start of the season. I completely missed the boat there.

recap
well Auburn is the only team that really took care of business this week out of my picks. Wisconsin pushed, Falcons won but didn't cover and Michigan...well who saw that coming except for every talking head on ESPN with whom I violenty disagreed with last week and chalked up to standard ND hype.
But on to more important things, not even mentioning that Mark Jackson, the old school nasty himself is having a celebrity roast for him in NYC this week featuring the comic stylings of Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullin, and Reggie Miller.
The big new is that Ryan Adams is coming back to Atlanta tomorrow night at the Tabernacle. A band will be with him and he will also play some solo songs. All together it should be awesome

the NCAA
Well it was a very very fun weekend to start of the NCAA season. Let's say Michigan, Ohio State, and Virginia made me weekend a lot better. If you would like to make your weekend better this week I would suggest placing money on the following games as quickly as possible before the lines change:
Michigan, Wisconsin and Auburn. All will win big. and in the NFL expect Vick to lead the falcons to at least a one touchdown victory of the 49ers or as otherwise known the second worst team in the NFL this year behind the Chargers.

Kobe
Um...I don't know exactly what to say about this Kobe ordeal. Here's the thing. I think it's quite possible that he did in fact rape this girl. However he hire the most cold hearted and able law team possible. Which did things like I don't know say release the victom's name. Which immediately opened her up to direct public scrutiny. Yeah it's great to be raped but then add every dillusional Laker fan in America telling you are a horrible person for going public with the fact your raped. That's gotta be fun.
On the reverse side...he could be innocent. And maybe justice was served today. However I find that hard to believe. I doubt some girl goes through all of the stress, time, etc.. of bringing a rape lawsuit against the star of the NBA and then decide you know what I don't want to live the lie anymore.
Oh well...
I miss the days when the biggest turmoil was Charles Barkley throwing some drunk obnoxious dude through a plate glass window.
