KG and JD door to door rocking. Although Seach for Inspirado may be the best episode. You can also check out Flight of the Conchords who pretty much stole Tencious D's routine, but it's still funny.

The Conchords are totally different to the D. The only similarity is they all have guitars. That's like saying the D stole Simon and Garfunkel's act.
Well they are a two person acoustic comedy group. So Simon and Garfunkel wouldn't fit the bill, but it's totally within reason to say that both their acts are possible because of the Smothers Brothers.
also, they pretty much stole a line word for word in regards to the women in the audience getting impregnated by the power of the music, but that may just be a tribute, you gotta believe.
Dude, I live in New Zealand. Honestly no one here knows who 'The Smothers Brothers' are. The Conchords have said before that one of their big inspirations is another kiwi comedy music duo 'The Front Lawn' who were around a few years ago and were really great.
Gotta love the old school Tenacious D skits, but isn't it KG and JB (not JD)?
