SWEET! ...tea

My prayers have been answered. Two weeks ago I spotted a Milo's Sweet Tea billboard on I-75 North of Atlanta and then I discovered a billboard a couple of blocks from my house. After coming up empty at some local stores I checked the Milos Tea website and thankfully they stock it at the Wal Mart on Howell Mill Road. Hell, I might stop by and chug a gallon on my bike ride home tomorrow.

If you've never had Milo's itself (Birmingham based fast food chain) or their tea, do yourself a favor and devour some as soon as possible. I still don't understand why Arby's doesn't follow this model and sell their sauce in grocery stores.

Bigfoot Bikes!

While I was getting a bike tire fixed yesterday I was looking into those cycling shoes that clip into the pedals. I got some basic info then asked my standard question about having to order the shoes because I wear a 14. Then the salesman informs me that he may actually have some big shoes because Tom Gugliotta had ordered some a few weeks ago but they probably wouldn't be "entry level" shoes like I was looking for. Alas there were none and I didn't get to buy the shoes that Tom deemed unworthy.

I pray for the day I get to see a 6"10 Googs biking around Atlanta. Hopefully it'll look something like this. Maybe Antoine still lives in Atlanta.
