Well Played Wal Mart. Well Played

An entrepreneurial tip of the hat to the Wal Mart on Howell Mill. They have apparently gotten rid of the hand baskets, leaving only shopping carts if you need to buy more than you carry. Which makes it seem like you are wasting your time when you only have 4-5 products in your cart. This is the most brilliant (and annoying) move I've heard of since I found out the Books-a-Million bathroom policy. They intentionally don't have any signage in the store for the bathrooms so that you have to ask an employee where they are. They did some study and figured out that employee customer interaction of any kind lead to an increase in sales. So anyway, congrats Wal Mart on convincing me to get that 12 pack of beer so my cereal and socks wouldn't be lonely in the cart.
